We are now accepting applications to our June 2010 program from accomplished, dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in New York City's public schools. Applicants accepted to our June 2010 program will begin training this summer and will be eligible to start teaching at the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year. The final deadline for the June 2010 program is February 8, 2010.

NYCTF is especially dedicated to recruiting applicants eligible for and interested in teaching one of our high-need subject areas.   Most Fellows in the June 2010 program will train to teach special education and science. While the size and subject composition of the June 2010 program are still to be determined, applications are reviewed and interviews are granted on a rolling basis; therefore, it is to an applicant’s advantage to submit an application as soon as possible.

Applicants can expect to hear whether or not they have been invited to interview within three weeks of submitting their application. 

Following an interview, candidates will receive a status update within eight to ten weeks. Final admissions decisions will be made in April 2010.
